About Event Indian knowledge system (IKS) is an innovative cell under ministry of education (MoE) at AICTE, New Delhi. It is established to promote interdisciplinary research on all aspects of IKS, preserve and disseminate IKS for research and societal applications. It will actively engage for spreading the rich heritage of our country and traditional knowledge in the fields of arts and literature, agriculture, basic sciences, engineering & technology, architecture, management, Economics, etc.
The Indian knowledge system comprise of Jnan, Vignan and Jeevan Darshan that have evolved out experience, observation, experimentation and rigorous analysis. This tradition of validation and putting into practice has impacted our education, arts, administration, law, justice, heath, manufacturing and commerce.
AIM of the Events
  • To decolonization of the Indian mindset
  • To promotion of life skill and practice knowledge among students through education.
  • To incorporate Indian Knowledge and Tradition in the fold of education in such a way that it becomes our ‘way of life’.
  • To realize the demographic dividend for the growth and development of our country.
  • To strive for quality and equitable education for all by extending stimulating courses on Indian Knowledge System to the students at a young age so that they know the importance of “doing what’s right”, with a logical framework for making ethical decisions.

Creator of “ANAND VAN”, the first Urban Forest of Uttarakhand which depicts the natural beauty, knowledge, spirituality, health, adventure and sports for all the age groups and for which she has been praised by the honourable Governor, Chief Minister, Education Minister Sri Dhan Singh Rawat and many dignitaries and the people of Dehradun.
