They gain knowledge about the significance of following safety rules, maintaining hygienic practices, and using quality assurance to guarantee the safety of consumers. | |
| AIM of the Events | 1. Providing students with a hands-on experience to supplement theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom. 2. Providing information to students about the technologies, procedures, and activities used in the food sector. 3. Introducing students to the wide range of job options in the food business, from marketing and logistics to food science and engineering. 4. Improving students’ knowledge of food systems, including the production, distribution, and environmental and health effects of food. This foster making informed dietary choices and advances food literacy. 5. Encouraging students to do critical analyses of the issues that the food sector faces, including sustainability, food security, and food waste. |
